Wimpy Kid Dog Days

Fresh from the US of A: the brand new cover and title for the fourth fiction book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series has just been revealed to fans all over the world.

And you’d better get your hat on, because it’s a scorcher!

That bright yellow cover and classic Greg pose will be enough to bring summer into your school this October, don’t you think?

Jeff Kinney is very pleased that he’s been able to get the new book published this year.
 
“I didn’t want my fans to have to wait a year for a new book! I’m very excited about Dog Days, because it takes Greg out of the school setting for the first time. It’s been a lot of fun to write about the Heffley summer vacation,” he said.

We can only imagine what kind of nutty adventures Greg will be having with Rodrick and Manny in tow. Can’t wait to find out!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days will be released in hardback by Puffin on 13 October, 2009. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for www.wimpykidclub.co.uk (coming soon!) for the launch of the UK’s very own Wimpy Kid Club. It's for you and all your wimpy friends, with competitions, games and activities and a forum!
